The Stûv 21

The Stûv 21 is ideal for those who are building or renovating and who prefer a unit that is integrated into the architecture.  Fireplaces with a minimalist design to allow you a constant view of the fire.

Freedom

Fireplaces designed to be installed without a frame or decorative accessories. The clean lines allow the craftsman who installs the fireplace to give free rein to his creativity.

Retractable glass door

The principle is simple: the glass door slides upwards and disappears behind the wall; the fireplace becomes an open fire, like a hearth. When the door is down, it is very efficient and safe. When the door is partially raised, you can enjoy an open fire without the risk of backdrafts.

Ideal view of the fire

Regardless of the position of the door, there is no frame to obstruct the view of the fire. Only a 4 cm (1-1/2″) metal strip surrounds the hearth. Its look does not change: there is no visible track or mechanism.

Accessible mechanism and tilting door

All of the Stûv 21’s mechanical components are located in the door, which tilts for easy cleaning.

Convection system and insulation

North American safety standards require Stûv 21 fireplaces to be insulated. A prefabricated shell makes it easier to insulate your fireplace and the mandatory convection grills prevent overheating and release heat into the room.

Frames

A frame conceals the thickness of the wall into which the fireplace fits and allows for minimalist finishing of the opening.

Front Panels

The front panels hide the installation and do not require finishing work. Moreover, the fireplace does not need to be completely fitted into the wall, which reduces the total depth required for the installation.
